A new way for GP's to send referrals is picking up momentum at a rapid rate. It's not surprising though. The Allied Health referral space has been time-consuming and messy for GP's forever. It's just the way it's always been done. Find the local practitioner, hope they are worth your patients' effort to attend, hope they are suitable for your patients' conditions, try to keep up with when companies change over, staff move on, whether or not they are still bulk billing, chase them for that letter or referral acceptance.
